We will always be kind and compassionate, creative and bold in helping people achieve their hopes and dreams. People are at the heart of all we do and they will feel valued and have an equal voice in their care and support. We will always respect people’s strengths and support them to be connected to their communities.
If this resonates with your values and leadership style, we would love to hear from you.

We are recruiting a Team Manager to lead our Upper Valley and North Halifax locality teams, providing leadership across our Older People and Physical Disability (OP/PD) pathways. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person centred and strengths based practice in line with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act.
You will be responsible for:

• Leading safeguarding activity and ensuring Making Safeguarding Personal is embedded
• Managing performance, quality, staffing and wellbeing
• Working closely with partners across Health, VCSE and community organisations
• Championing continuous improvement and supporting service development
Our locality model is central to Calderdale’s approach, placing practice closer to communities, strengthening relationships, and improving outcomes for adults and carers.
Why Now? A Service on a Strong Upward Path
Our recent CQC assessment recognised the quality of our leadership, culture and partnerships, and our ASCOF results include some of the strongest performance nationally. We know our strengths and we also know exactly what we want to improve next.
