Your Role

We are seeking a Specialist Lead – Audit and Practice Improvement who is a registered qualified Social Worker.

 

As a Specialist Lead – Audit and Practice Improvement in North East Lincolnshire Council’s Children’s Services, you will work as part of a team and contribute to quality assurance and practice improvement across Children’s Services, with a specific focus on children’s social care practice.

 

You will take a lead role in the development of our audit programme and carry out a variety of audits in line with our priority areas of focus. You will also have oversight of the audit process to ensure it remains fit for purpose in the context of our statutory and regulatory frameworks.

 

Working collaboratively, you will take a lead role in ensuring that the views and experiences of children, young people and families are central to planning, delivering and improving our services.  

  

You will be part of the Workforce service whose work is highly valued and supported by skilled, knowledgeable and caring leaders and managers. We would welcome applications from individuals who are child centred and enabling,  who are ambitious for themselves, and the wider workforce through being strengths based and quality driven in their approach to support, develop and improve practice so that it makes a difference for children and families.
