This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team delivering outreach support to early years children (0-5 years) with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We are looking to recruit an Outreach Practitioner to support the work of our Portage Team for two days (14.5 hours) per week. This could be an excellent professional development opportunity for someone already working within the early years sector.
The postholder will be required to work in partnership with families, early years settings, colleagues, and other professionals to support in understanding a child’s developmental needs and in planning and delivering interventions.
The role would involve home visiting, visits to early years settings and working within a Family Hub. Therefore, travel across North Lincolnshire will be required.
The postholder will need to have had relevant experience of working within early years and be passionate about working with children with SEND. An in-depth knowledge of child development is essential along with good communication and interpersonal skills.
