Social Workers in Calderdale are supported to provide the very best service for our communities. Quality reflective supervision is provided regularly as part of our learning culture. All staff are also encouraged to join one of our staff groups, including BAME, LGBTQ and Disability Forum.

Adult Services have recently secured a pay award for Social Workers bringing salaries in line with colleagues in Children’s services and more competitive with our neighbouring authorities.

Our office accommodation is modern and in locations across Calderdale, the are Covid safe and we operate Hybrid working arrangements. All essential car users have paid parking permits and access to parking.
