We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Social Worker (with or without AMHP status) to join our friendly and dedicated Enhanced Team West.

A Role Where Your Expertise Matters

As a Senior Social Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting adults experiencing mental health challenges to maintain their independence, improve their wellbeing, and achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.

You'll use your knowledge, creativity, and professional judgement to:

• Complete Care Act assessments and strength-based reviews
• Develop person-centred, outcome-focused support plans
• Deliver planned interventions and ongoing social work support
• Work closely with families, carers, health professionals, and partner agencies
• Promote independence, choice, and positive risk-taking
• Advocate for the people you support and ensure their voices are heard

As One of Our Senior Practitioners, You'll Also

• Manage a complex but manageable caseload
• Support and mentor colleagues within the team
• Assist the Team Manager in maintaining high standards of practice
• Provide supervision to students and other staff where required
• Share your knowledge and help develop others
• Contribute to the growth and development of the service

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

✅ Knowledgeable about the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification recognised by CCETSW
• Registered with Social Work England
• Evidence of post-qualifying training and professional development
• Commitment to maintaining and developing professional skills and knowledge
• Ability to build positive working relationships with people, carers, colleagues, and partner organisations
